Hardware or software purchased on behalf of
clients.
Hardware
Axos will purchase hardware at the request of the client.
We do so as agents for the client on condition that the
client pays a 50% deposit on order and the balance on delivery.
We do not offer extended credit on external purchasing.
In purchasing items at the client's request we act as agents
for the client. We do not offer any extra or extended warranties.
Your statutory rights and the warranty of the manufacturer
are not affected.
As agents to the client we are not responsible for faulty
or failed equipment and do not offer a repair, servicing
or replacement unless requested by the client as part of
our paid service.
It should be noted that any attempt to repair faulty
goods under warranty may invalidate the manufacturers warranty.
Should a piece of hardware be deemed faulty ie 'dead on
arrival' or failed within a short period from purchase Axos
Assist will collect, and, at no cost to the client, seek
either a refund or a replacement from the manufacturer on
behalf of the client as quickly as possible. Axos Assist
cannot be held responsible for the speed with which the
manufacturer responds nor for any loss arising out of the
loss of equipment or its use.
Should the equipment fail within the warranty period, Axos
Assist will, on return of the goods to Axos Assist, undertake
to return the equipment to the manufacturer at no cost to
the client. Axos Assist cannot be held responsible for the
speed with which the manufacturer responds nor for any loss
arising out of the loss of equipment or its use.
Software
Axos will purchase software at the request of the client.
We do so as agents of the client on condition that the client
pays a 50% deposit on order and the balance on delivery.
We do not offer extended credit on external purchasing.
Axos will install the software at the request of clients
at our usual rates.
Axos Assist do not undertake to guarantee suitability of
the software for its purpose and do not offer training or
instruction on its use.
Axos Assist will advise where possible on the suitability
of software for particular Operating Systems but cannot
be responsible for any changes to the Operating System,
installation of other software, updates or patches which
interfere with the software operation.
Software can only be returned to the manufacturer if the
manufacturer will accept the return. The manufacturer will
usually specify that the box has been unopened and the software
in 'as sold' condition.
Axos assist will not accept any responsibility for any
losses arising out of inappropriate or malfunctioning software.
